Description

Situated facing onto the tranquil waters of Bowmoor Lake on the award-winning Lakes By Yoo development at the heart of the Cotswolds is this impressive waterside home, surrounded by stunning natural scenery. The house is wonderfully private, tucked away from the main thoroughfares of the development and enveloped by mature trees, shielding it from view from neighbouring homes. Despite its secluded setting, the house enjoys enviable views over the lake from the rear, and in particular from the rooftop terrace which has the added benefit of a very private swimming pool, Jacuzzi and lounging area.

The substantial property offers more than 4600 sq ft of space, every inch of which is immaculately presented to the highest possible standards – premium materials and brands have been used throughout, and the list of mod cons on offer leaves nothing to be desired. The rooms sizes are generous and there is plenty of space for both entertaining friends and family, or simply relaxing and enjoying the views or watching a film in the relaxing living area.

While all the rooms are special, the 51ft open plan living space on the ground floor, with a huge wall of glass doors overlooking the lake, is a real highlight. The room has zones for a kitchen – with attached pantry and utility room, a dining area and sitting area, with doors opening to a separate sitting room. On the first floor there is a principal suite with dressing area and stunning en suite bathroom, four further bedrooms (three en suite) and a family bath/shower room. All of the bedrooms have sliding doors opening to either a Juliet balcony or terrace. On the top floor, a second kitchen provides space to be used as a bar, for rooftop cocktails or sundowner dinners on the roof terrace.

Location

Located in the heart of the estate is The Orchard Spa. Designed by award-winning architects, the spa has a splendid 17-metre heated pool with panoramic views across Clear Water Lake. In addition there is a sauna room, steam room and gym with Matrix equipment and kinesis wall.

The estate also provides other activities for all the family including a Kids Club and special events throughout the year. However, the essence of the environment is one of calm and tranquillity where the hurly burly of modern life can be forgotten.
