Situated just to the west of Chelmsford, Writtle has been described as ‘one of the loveliest villages in England’.
At its centre, the Green with its duckpond is surrounded by wonderful character properties. Wander just off the Green and you will find the picturesque All Saints Church.
Although the village is small, there are plenty of amenities with a doctor’s surgery, dentist, small supermarkets and a post office and quaint village pubs and independent restaurants.
