At the age of just 26, Douglas Gascoine, or DG as he was known by his team, opened his first office in Westgate, Southwell in 1954. He then later purchased the old NatWest bank premises in the centre of Southwell, where Gascoines still operates today. The business is now run by Mr Gascoines daughter, Emma Gascoine, who is Chief Executive. Emma has been closely involved within the business herself for many years and looks forward to more success in the future.
