TENANT INFORMATION Security Deposit (per tenancy. If extra costs are incurred there will be a charge of £15 per hour (inc. VAT) for the time taken replacing lost key(s) or other security device(s).Variation of Contract (Tenant’s Request) £50 (inc. Normally, this will include your employer, any former landlord and a character reference. In addition a search of the adverse credit register and a search of the voters roll register will be carried out.RentRents are normally quoted on a calendar month basis. Rents are paid monthly in advance at the beginning of each month by standing order to the Read Maurice client account or directly to the landlord. The first month’s rent together with rent for additional days if appropriate is normally paid, in cleared funds, on the day that the tenancy agreement is signed.ServicesAll services will be transferred into the tenants name and will be their sole responsibilityCommencement of TenancyYou will be required to pay the first month’s rent in advance. This may also be pro rata at the discretion of Read Maurice. If your moving in date is after the first of the month you will be requested to pay the balance of that month plus the first whole month’s rent. This is calculated at the rate of Rent / Days in Month x Days remaining plus 1 month’s rent. Payable in cleared funds into our client account by electronic transfer. Please note we are unable to take cash payments for rent and all rent must be placed into our nominated client account.VATVAT is included on all fees quoted.
