Hello there and welcome to SKP Management. We are a small family run business, who take care of all aspects of renting and maintaining properties on behalf of landlords. We are based just outside of Chester-Le-Street in County Durham but provide properties to rent all over the North East. Our main areas are Sunderland and South Shields, but we also have properties in the Durham, Newcastle and Gateshead areas. 
<ul><li>Landlord Information:-</li></ul>
We are always open to receiving new properties to manage on behalf of the landlord. We take away the hassle of bills and maintenance as well as attending to the tenants&#39; needs. We only charge a percentage of the rent you receive, and a finding fee for the properties you may have empty. If your looking to rent with us, we offer a very low holding fee and NO HIDDEN COSTS! We also acceppt DSS, providing you have a guarantor in place. We generally advise between 2-4 weeks between paying the admin fee and moving in. If you see a property you are interested in, please feel free to call the office or send us an email. - If you are in receipt of DSS* you will need a guarantor. This has to be either a homeowner or someone who is in full time employment. - If you are in full time employment, a guarantor is advisable if you have had any CCJ&#39;s within the last 7 years. 
<ul><li>Holding Fee:-</li></ul>
We charge £100 Holding fee** which covers the cost of the paperwork, application process and acts as a deposit for the property. On the move in day we require the first months rent and the same equivalent for the bond (minus the £100 holding fee already paid). Please Note:-  *Housing Benefits are put in place for your benefit, not ours. Regardless of any benefit you may receive the rent must be paid in full on it&#39;s due date each month.**The holding fee is non-refundable.

Near the end of the fixed term, the Tenancy will be reviewed and providing there are no rent arrears and the property is kept in a respectable manner, we will offer to renew the contract, free of charge.
