Rise Homes focuses on developing high-quality rental accommodation that is good value for money.
Having previously delivered schemes in Manchester and Cumbria, providing a total of 674 new apartments, during 2020 Rise Homes created high-quality new-build apartments to rent at The Depot, Manchester, and both apartments and office space for rent at The Mailbox, Stockport. In 2021, Rise completed the development of 85 new high-quality apartments at Greyfriars, Coventry.
All properties are fully furnished to a high standard. They include instantly available high-speed broadband and are professionally managed.
Rise Homes has several further housing developments planned for completion in the near future, including new developments in Sheffield, Wolverhampton, Leeds, and Stockport Interchange, that will see the creation of many hundreds of new homes for rent at affordable prices.
Rise Homes are committed to sustainability, making a determined and conscious effort through a number of design, construction, and operating decisions to lessen our own footprint, and that of our residents and occupiers, on the environment.
Rise Homes have developed sustainable eco-friendly homes across six schemes in the North of England and has developed five biomass heating systems. Our Tribe Apartments scheme, which was completed in 2015 won the prestigious global award for a Residential scheme from the world’s leading sustainability assessment method for master planning projects, infrastructure, and buildings.
BREEAM rated developments are more sustainable environments that enhance the well-being of the people who live and work in them, help protect natural resources and make for more attractive property investments.
Rise Homes actively seek to breathe renewed life into often long-standing neglected derelict buildings and sites. Rise Homes also focusses on recycling all possible parts of the previous building, whether that’s original features, elements of the building’s original footprint, or simply a nod to the history of the site. The Mailbox in Stockport is the complete regeneration of the former Royal Mail Sorting Office, which stood derelict for 10 years whilst carefully retaining its unique stairwells.
The Depot in Whalley Range replaces the home of the former Stagecoach Bus Depot. Greyfriars in Coventry used to be an empty office building and Founders Yard in Sheffield is the site of electrical wholesalers and pubs that were closed and derelict for many years.
Our property in Leeds is now going to utilise access to the Leeds Pipes Heat Network rather than heat pumps, The Locks feature PV panels, battery storage (as does Greyfriars), a living wall, and a biomass district heating system.
Our planned Leeds and Wolverhampton housing developments also include the regeneration of a former industrial site no longer needed for manufacturing and of a redundant Government building.
