From the M6 at Junction 41 northbound, take the first exit onto the B5305 to Wigton. From southbound it is the third exit. Continue on this road, passing the first left turn for Hesket Newmarket and then - on the long straight section of the road - there is a crossroads signposted to Dalston and Carlisle to the right and to Caldbeck to the left. Take this left turn and follow the road to the top of the fell. At the crossroads, take a right signposted Wigton and the next left signposted Thackthwaite/Cleamire. At High Hall turn right towards Bolton New Houses and at the Bog Hall crossroads turn left towards Thornthwaite. At the end of this road, take a left - signposted to be a dead end - and after the bend the property is on the left.
