Nunhead lane is your destination for excellent family run high st shops, including Sopers Wet Fish shop, Ayre's bakery, a traditional butchers and green grocers, all complimented by newer arrivals such as 400 Rabbits (Pizza!) and the excellent Mother Superior deli and wine store.
Tons of green space around too, starting with the local Eckington Gardens on Casella Rd, then there's Fordham and the two Telegraph Hill parks, plus Greenwich and Blackheath a short bus/bike ride East.
