Lynfield Court is located about half way between so there is access to all the amenities that both areas have to offer. Honor Oak Park is marginally closer being about a 0.5 mile walk. Both Honor Oak Park and Forest Hill have services to London Bridge, Victoria and London Overground links to Canada Water, Shoreditch, Hoxton, Dalston Junction and Highbury & Islington. Honor Oak Park high street offers a variety of places to eat and drink such as Muma Dough Pizza, Turkish grill Hattush, Ground & Grapes coffee and wine bar, Two Spoons cafe as well as a great deli and a Sainsbury’s. Further down the high street on Brockley Rise is a post office and more shops and cafes. At the Forest Hill end of the street is St David's which is the prettiest coffee shop you could wish for, there are superb comedy nights at The Signal and The Sylvan Post does excellent food along with some great pizza places. You'll also find a Sainsbury's, Post Office, WH Smiths, Boots, delicatessens and modern swimming pool/leisure centre. Horniman Museum and Gardens is very close and holds regular farmers' markets, great summer events and a butterfly sanctuary, while Devonshire Nature reserve is literally on your doorstep which is a magical community garden and mixture of protected meadow and woodland.
