New House? Not at all, this is a fabulous character cottage (built circa 1898) and is going to be the new love of your life for sure! Having been a wonderful family home for the last 24 years, it’s time for someone else to enjoy what this lovely home has to offer from incredible outdoor space to satisfy any member of the family to the spacious inside. We’ll enter via the door to the rear which takes you in to a fantastic sized open plan kitchen dining room which is immaculately presented. Matching wooden painted wall and base units with cream worktops over, a Belfast ceramic sink with mixer tap, integrated appliances which include, fridge and freezer, Bosch double oven and grill and electric hob, but what really finishes the room off beautifully is the new Amtico tiled floor which continues in to the dining area, a great space for a decent size table and other furniture too. Patio sliding doors lead from the dining area in to the lovely conservatory which has the view over the large patio, garage and gardens making the whole back of the house connect wonderfully to the rear entertaining space. Through a door from the kitchen you have a utility room which has a lovely Karndean flooring and tastefully matches the kitchen units giving space for a washing machine and tumble dryer, and a sink over but then there’s another door which leads to a very handy shower room with a white suite comprising W.C, pedestal sink and a quadrant shower cubicle, tiled with a glass curved sliding door and electric shower over. The next door leads to what would have been the cosy dining room but is currently used as a sitting room, with original character feel to it, beams to the ceiling, a window overlooking the front aspect and a white washed brick chimney breast with log burner inset. Another door from here takes you in to the front entrance hall where the stairs would lead to the first floor, but through another door opposite you enter the final room downstairs, the lounge which is another cosy space, beams to the ceiling and an impressive brick chimney breast with wooden beams inset and another warming log burner, perfect for chilly spring nights, then a final door leads back out to the kitchen diner. Up the stairs to the initial landing you have two fabulous double sized bedrooms, on the left is currently the master bedroom with a window to the front and fitted wardrobe hidden around the corner with another window to the front aspect, on the right from the landing is bedroom two with dual aspect windows but would lend itself nicely to adding an en-suite without taking too much away from this fabulous sized room. Up one step and to the right you have bedroom four which is a surprisingly big double room and a window overlooking the rear aspect, next door is the bathroom which is fitted with a white suite comprising bath with electric shower over, pedestal sink and W.C but with the added quirky character of an old oak beam vertically inset on the corner of the wall. Lastly along the corridor you’ll pass an essential airing cupboard then finally to the third bedroom which once again, is a fabulous double room with best views of the stunning garden. Back outside the kitchen door you are on to the huge patio area ideal for entertaining family or friends then across the driveway which can easily park several cars you have a double garage which has been a wonderful space for this family over the years with space for two cars initially but then to the rear there is a door that leads to the back hallway, a door to the left that leads back out to the garden, under stairs storage and a full shower room as the current owners had this built with the idea in mind that it would be a granny annexe, so up the stairs you have a landing with eaves storage then a lovely big room with three windows that would make an ideal room for housing a relative or simply a games room for kids or fabulous office space. Back downstairs and out through the door you are straight in to the stunning garden! It really is a blank canvas for you to dream of how you will be using it, a very large rectangular garden all laid to lawn, that is simply yours to enjoy or landscape to your hearts content! And with the added bonus of overlooking fields this really is a "forever" home for you to love and cherish. Do not delay, call the office today to see the lovely, impressive New House.[use Contact Agent Button]
