HISTORY OF ROFFEY PARK: Roffey Park House is a Grade II listed Jacobean style Victorian building constructed in wings of different styles.

The house was built in about 1870 for the Innes family. Roffey Park House remained a private family home for over 70 years. Notably one of the more important owners was Sir August Cayzer who drastically changed the appearance of the property by adding the east wing and then the ballroom wing for his daughters coming of age party.

During the Second World War the house was taken over by the National Council for Rehabilitation for Busy Industrialists and was subsequently taken over by the Regional Hospital Board when the National Health Service was founded. It remained a hospital until the early 1980s.

The property remained empty for the next 10 years and the building fell into a certain state of disrepair. It has now been sympathetically restored and modernised to reflect its former splendour, with many of the original features. The outside gardens and grounds, which extend to approximately 19 acres have been reinstated with formal grass areas and woodland. The walled garden has been cleared and woodland walks have been opened up for the enjoyment of the residents.

The east wing has been converted to provide eight mews houses, whilst the main section of the house provides twelve apartments. The ballroom has been sold separately and is now an attractive studio house.

    Super-fast: Between 30 Mbit/s and 300 Mbit/s

Ofcom has tested the actual coverage provided in various locations around the UK to help ensure that these predictions are reasonable. The values shown against a property can be broken down as follows:

Clear: No bars, no signal predicted
Red: One bar, reliable signal unlikely
Amber: Two bars, may experience problems with connectivity
Green: Three bars, likely to have good coverage and receive a data rate to support basic web services
Enhanced: Full bars, likely to have good coverage indoors and to receive an enhanced data rate to support multimedia services

Energy Performance data and Internal floor area: obtained on February 13, 2014 from The Energy Performance of Buildings (Certificates and Inspections) (England and Wales) Regulations 2007 or the Home Report if in relation to a residential property in Scotland.
