Features and description
'We will miss waking up and watching the sun rise over Purdown with our morning coffees. If we are lucky we may spot a couple of hot air balloons. The short walk down to Gloucester road or St Werburghs to pick up some local delights and stopping of at The Lazy Dog for a quick pint was always the best part of our weekend. We bought the flat having rented in the same block after two years. We knew that we wanted to live somewhere bright and open with a beautiful view and felt lucky having found that so close to city centre- with a parking space!
We have quiet and friendly neighbours so studying, working full-time and managing shift work has never been concern. We will really miss living in this flat, we were lucky enough to spend some time and money upgrading and putting our stamp on it- hopefully the new owners will love it just as much.'
This flat is set within 'Pople Walk', conveniently set back from Ashley Down Road, along which several buses run to nearby Horfield, UWE, and into Bristol City Centre. The property is a short walk from the many popular independent shops and cafés on Gloucester Road and Picton Street in Montpelier such as Bianchi's, as well as the locally-renowned Urban Standard and Gallimaufry. Just a short walk away is also St Andrews Park, a public park with children's play area. For sports fans, Gloucestershire County Cricket Club play regularly in summer just under a mile away and Bristol Rovers' Memorial Stadium is further up Gloucester Road. For commuters, the area is very well positioned with the city centre within walking or cycling distance and regular buses running. The M32 Junction 3 is just short drive for those looking to travel out of the city towards the M4 and M5. Residents who like to seek a rural feel are afforded the benefit of nearby St Werburghs Farm area, where Narroways walkways offer green spaces and several walk and cycle ways offer a great retreat from city life. Popular pubs and tap bars also populate this area at the bottom of the hill, with The Farm Pub offering a fantastic outdoor space just a short walk away.
This modern flat offers a brilliant open-plan kitchen/living space with an easterly aspect overlooking a green to the back of the development and boasting fantastic views to the east. The balcony gives the residents of this flat a private outdoor space to enjoy, large enough for a table to sit out and eat. Whilst situated in a modern development the flat has been further improved in the past few years to give it a more modern finish than many others, with a new kitchen and bathrooms. The flat has two double bedrooms with an en-suite to the main bedroom. The flat has an allocated parking space behind a secure barrier.
