A SPACIOUS 4 double bedroom bungalow with BEAUTIFUL GARDENS and pleasant views of the surrounding countryside.

This particularly spacious and well presented four double bedroom bungalow is situated in an elevated position just off of West Street in the popular Dorset village of Winterbourne Stickland.
The property is believed to be of traditional brick construction with a tile hung roof and shares its access with similar neighbouring properties which leads to a private off road parking area and a single integral garage. Internally, the generous entrance hall forms a 'T' shape and leads to all principal rooms including a well positioned sitting room overlooking the rear garden and featuring a lovely wood burning stove. The kitchen overlooks the well tended front gardens which offer an alternative space to relax with distant views of the surrounding countryside. The kitchen itself features a range of modern wall and base mounted units under light grey coloured stone effect work surfaces and space/plumbing for a washing machine and dishwasher in addition to space for an electric oven. The secondary hallway provides further access from the front of the property and into the integral garage as well as a useful garden room with pleasant views over the rear garden.
The master bedroom benefits from a similar rear aspect view whilst bedroom two features a dual aspect with a high sided window which floods the room with extra sunlight. This room also benefits from fitted storage. Bedrooms three and four are situated on the front elevation and both enjoy pleasant views over the front garden and countryside beyond.
The property affords a recently refitted bathroom which comprises tiled walls and a white modern bathroom suite with a fitted shower above the bath. Within the airing cupboard there is a new combination boiler and hot water cylinder feeding the central heating installed in 2017.
In addition to the above there is a separate fully tiled wet room with a fixed glass splash screen and a built-in vanity unit with low level WC with concealed cistern and storage cupboard underneath.

The village of Winterbourne Stickland lies approximately 4 miles west of the Town of Blandford Forum and is sited in the Winterbourne Valley in the Dorset Downs which gives rise to the first part of its name. The second part "Stickland" is derived from sticol, Old English for "steep".
The village enjoys a number of excellent facilities - the pub, garage, village hall, church, school (part of the federated Dunbury Primary School) and sports club.
A characteristic of Stickland is the high level of community spirit and social activity that is enjoyed within the village. Many evenings are taken up with meetings for local events such as the gardening club, craft guild, annual pantomime, pub quizzes, and more. Many of these activities include villagers from the neighbouring area, and much is made of the 'Valley' community which is served by the Valley News, a free monthly magazine.

Passing over a small bridge the property is accessed via a tarmacked driveway providing off-street parking for two vehicles as well as an additional shingle parking area. The front and rear gardens have been meticulously maintained by the present owners at both the front and rear. The generous front garden is laid to lawn with established flower beds and hedge lined borders. The garden wraps around the side of the property with a gate providing access to the rear terraced garden. The rear garden has a selection of established rockeries and is split into distinct terraces. One of the most salient features of the rear garden is the paved seating/ dining area enjoying bucolic views over the surrounding hillside.
