Directions - From Leek, On the A53 turn right and head for the village of Thorncliffe. Go through the village past the Reform Pub on your left then you come to a sharp left hand blind bend. Continue up the hill and as you reach the top take the next right and immediately over the cattle grid in front of you. As you go over the cattle grid you will see two blue signs saying access to Upper Green Farm, Highmoor Farm and Highfields Farm. Continue down the tarmac track until the track at the bottom turns into a chattered track; please drive carefully as livestock does graze the area. An ideal speed is 10-15mph. Proceed up the hill, over a second cattle grid and continue down the track until you reach an agricultural barn on your right. DO NOT cross the cattle grid in front of you, instead take the track bearing to the left. Continue down the track over the cattle grid, Highfields Barn can be found on the left clearly signed.
