A beautiful four bedroom village house situated on a sizeable plot with outbuildings

Description

Set back behind a large front garden, this stunning stone built house sits on a most enviable plot of just over half an acre in the quintessential village of Manfield.

Dating back to the 19th century, the house has plenty of character and charm. Extending to just over 2,200 square feet, the accommodation is very well balanced with spacious rooms, high ceilings and large windows creating an ideal family home.

On entering the property you are greeted by a striking ornate door which leads you on to the sitting room with a log burner. Continuing through the ground floor there is a separate, more formal family room with bay window and fireplace. The kitchen has dual aspect windows allowing for plenty of light and fitted units along one side with an Aga. It opens on to the dining room to one side and a large utility to the other. Additional rooms include a useful study area and downstairs WC.

The first floor is also well proportioned, of particular note is the principal bedroom suite which extends to 23 square feet and has an en suite bathroom and built in wardrobes. There are three further bedrooms served by a house bathroom with a freestanding roll top bath, shower and separate WC.

The property benefits from a number of outbuildings including a sizeable car port, garage and stone built stables. A large gravelled drive provides parking for several cars.

To the rear of the property there is a large lawned garden flanked by mature trees. To the front you will find another more formal lawned garden with planted borders surrounded by large hedges.
