Property description & features

"When we wake up every morning to the view of the Clifton Suspension Bridge and Hotwells' colourful terraces, we see a picture-perfect view of Bristol. To add to this joy, the scene changes with the seasons, bringing gorgeous contrasting colours, dramatic clouds and balloon launches from Ashton Court. We have put a lot of love and care into refurbishing every room in our flat. In the bedroom, kitchen and lounge we have fitted Karndean luxury vinyl tiles; we have installed a new kitchen and have recently retiled the bathroom. We feel heavy-hearted about our decision to move to Bournemouth to be closer to family and will miss our first home very much.

We have loved living by Parson Street station and its quick access to Weston-super-Mare, Yatton and North Devon. As walkers, this has reduced our need to use a car and made our trips much more relaxing!
We have also made good use of being just around the corner from Redpoint Climbing Centre and the five-minute cycle to North Street."

Bedminster Road touches the edge of Bedminster and runs through to the city centre. The property is within easy reach of the hugely desirable North Street, a well-known and vibrant road running through Southville and Bedminster. This area is popular with a range of residents for its independent shops and amenities and abundance of recognisable culture, typified by annual events such as 'Upfest' and the nearby Harbourside Festival and Bristol International Balloon Fiesta. Much of this area's attraction stems from its proximity to Bristol City Centre. The accessibility of the city centre makes this area in high demand with young professionals, commuters and those who look to enjoy the high-quality shops, bars and restaurants of North Street, Bristol City Centre and Harbourside, including the newly developed Wapping Wharf. For those who require frequent access out of the city, the property is also close to both Bedminster and Parsons Street station, a short walk to the Bristol Airport bus stop, as well as offering several routes by road to outstanding countryside and more rural attractions nearby. There is a new bakery which has just opened up nearby called the Batches Bread Project, as well as the ever popular 'Estate of the Arts' which hosts regular open studios, workshops, makers markets, and film nights.

Placed on Bedminster Road, with beautiful views the the city centre, Ashton Court, and beyond, is this beautifully presented one bedroom flat. Part of a 1930s property, this property was split into flats, giving this apartment its own private staircase. The flat consists of a separate kitchen with plenty of work surface and cupboard space, and a living room with space enough for a lounge and dining area. The bedroom has stunning uninterrupted views across the whole of Bristol. There is also a bathroom with floor to ceiling tiles. The property also comes with scope for improvement, with the option to extend into the loft, creating yet more space and sweeping views across the city.

Broadband availability and predicted speed: obtained from Ofcom on October 20, 2022

Broadband speed is measured in megabits per second, with the number returned showing how fast the connection is. Each reading is based on the highest predicted speed of any major broadband network for services that deliver the download speeds. The following are the different readings that we may display:

    Basic: Up to 30 Mbit/s
    Super-fast: Between 30 Mbit/s and 300 Mbit/s
    Ultra-fast: Over 300 Mbit/s

The data is updated three times a year. The checker results are predictions and should not be regarded as guaranteed. For more information, see: https://checker.ofcom.org.uk/en-gb/about-checker#Answer_0_2

Mobile phone signal availability and predicted strength: obtained from Ofcom on October 20, 2022

Mobile signal predictions are provided by the four UK mobile network operators: EE, O2, Three and Vodafone. Predictions can vary significantly from the coverage you may actually experience as a result of local factors (especially terrain). Ofcom has tested the actual coverage provided in various locations around the UK to help ensure that these predictions are reasonable. The values shown against a property can be broken down as follows:

Clear: No bars, no signal predicted
Red: One bar, reliable signal unlikely
Amber: Two bars, may experience problems with connectivity
Green: Three bars, likely to have good coverage and receive a data rate to support basic web services
Enhanced: Full bars, likely to have good coverage indoors and to receive an enhanced data rate to support multimedia services

Energy Performance data and Internal floor area: obtained on October 14, 2014 from The Energy Performance of Buildings (Certificates and Inspections) (England and Wales) Regulations 2007 or the Home Report if in relation to a residential property in Scotland.

Any supplementary data should not be relied upon as forming part of any property particulars and OnTheMarket cannot be held responsible for any incorrectness in this data. See here for more information.
