Whats Nearby
Mundon is a small village on the edge of the Dengie peninsula which lies three miles to the south-east of Maldon. There is a pub in the village with shopping facilities found in nearby Maldon with its historic town centre and famous Hythe, which is the home to many of the remaining Thames barges. The area is largely agricultural, positioned between the Blackwater estuary and river Crouch. With its vast coastline the area is very popular for sailing and other water sports. Educational facilities are well catered for with both state and private education available in the Chelmsford, Maldon and surrounding areas.

Within Easy Reach
The area is well served both by road and rail links with the A414 around 5 miles away linking the A130, A12 and beyond. Trains from North Fambridge (5 miles), South Woodham Ferrers (8 miles) and Chelmsford (12 miles) run frequent services into London Liverpool Street. There is a selection of well known and boutique shopping facilities in nearby Maldon, which also boasts a good selection of eateries and amenities. Supermarkets include Tesco, Morrison, Aldi and Lidl. The City of Chelmsford is a 25-30 minute drive, with a larger variety of shopping, services and amenities including the recently developed Bond Street shopping complex
