We have thoroughly enjoyed our travels from the property by water where a modest 6 knot boat journey will reach West Mersea within a couple of hours, when leaving on a morning outgoing tide and returning in the evening on the incoming tide but the time has now come for another custodian to enjoy the property and make use of the wonderful location and accommodation on offer.
History & Background
The complex was developed some 24 years ago, where our client has thoroughly enjoyed living since new. The 10 residents have since bought the freehold jointly and have formed their own management company for the leases which reflects well in the beautifully kept grounds that the properties stand within. Other features including security and fire alarm, all fitted kitchen appliances and electric heating.
Setting & Location
The property is approached via Station Road, where there is a private right of access to the gated mews style complex. The apartment is within walking distance of Maldon's historical and maritime town which offers excellent high street amenities and there is also a large Tesco supermarket within a short 5/10-minute walk.
BY RAIL: Hatfield Peverel offers then nearest mainline rail service for London's Liverpool Street, being within an hour's commute; 5.5 miles by road and a 40-minute train journey.
