SITUATION AND DESCRIPTION
Located in the pretty rural village of Chilsworthy, nestling in the beautiful Tamar Valley, is this detached country cottage which is full of period charm and character and has a warm and welcoming feel about it.

The expansive accommodation is arranged over two floors and, unlike many cottages, is comfortably large enough for a family and includes four/five bedrooms, a sitting room with exposed stone fireplace, woodburning stove and cloam oven, a separate dining room also with open fireplace (not in use) a snug which could be used as a study, a stunning garden room, a kitchen/breakfast room and large utility room. The internal space is particularly versatile as, in addition to the master bedroom suite, there is a ground floor bedroom with a modern shower room adjacent which could suit an elderly relative or independent teenager. There is a separate workshop with electric and lighting for hobbies and further storage.

Although reputedly one of the oldest in the village, the cottage has been gently updated over the years with a number of sympathetic improvements whilst taking care to preserve the many attractive period features such as beamed ceilings, fireplaces, slate flagged floors and joinery work. The cottage is warmed by oil fired central heating (the boiler and hot water cylinder are located in the utility room) and the woodburning stove in the sitting room, making it particularly cosy in the winter months.
