Strathmore has a good deal of charm and character, with feature fireplaces, a cream Aga, and welcoming oak framed-porch. The country-style kitchen opens into the conservatory - a particularly sunny spot with its easterly-facing position.
The garden gently lies towards the south, so the afternoon and evening sun hit the pergola and dining terrace in the summer months.
For active families, there's a decent-sized utility with adjoining cloak & shower room - perfect for hosing down the country mud, dogs and children.
The lounge features a box bay window and feature fireplace, bespoke cabinets and traditional décor with modern styling. There's a separate family room / play room or office - also with a box bay window and a good amount of natural daylight.
Each of the five bedrooms has its own character, and the family bathroom has been recently re-fitted with classic-contemporary fittings (including a modern claw-foot bath tub)
Affectionately known as the 'tree-house' there's a separate and spacious garden studio which has beautiful views across the fields. This studio is perfect for a two-person office, older children's hang-out, a gym or craft studio. Downstairs incorporates both garaging and workshop, with a separate side entrance below the stairs.
A Few Words from Quarters
"There's a nearby footpath which nips through to Bramshill Forest, where the new owners can get energised in of over 1,600 acres of woodland. Bramshill is ideal for horse-riding, jogging, dog-walking or just simply taking a stroll to unwind.
Rustic and roomy (over 2,600 sq ft overall), Strathmore offers space, scope and plenty of charm. Formerly the Village Store of Eversley, there is a small single-storey maisonette built to the side of the cottage, which was once the store room for the shop.
Parking on the driveway takes 3+ cars but, with the gates open, there's room for a couple of extra cars (plus the garage, of course).
We particularly love the views and the quirky features you'll only find in character properties. We must mention the pubs, after all they're a large part of village life... Although we've checked the reviews for the Tally Ho! and White Hart, we had to check them out personally, and are pleased to confirm they're every bit as good as the reviews!"
Please get in touch with Nick or Teresa for more details, or to arrange your viewing.

Broadband availability and predicted speed: obtained from Ofcom on May 26, 2022
Broadband speed is measured in megabits per second, with the number returned showing how fast the connection is. Each reading is based on the highest predicted speed of any major broadband network for services that deliver the download speeds. The following are the different readings that we may display:
Basic: Up to 30 Mbit/s
Super-fast: Between 30 Mbit/s and 300 Mbit/s
Ultra-fast: Over 300 Mbit/s
The data is updated three times a year. The checker results are predictions and should not be regarded as guaranteed. For more information, see: https://checker.ofcom.org.uk/en-gb/about-checker#Answer_0_2
Mobile phone signal availability and predicted strength: obtained from Ofcom on May 26, 2022
Mobile signal predictions are provided by the four UK mobile network operators: EE, O2, Three and Vodafone. Predictions can vary significantly from the coverage you may actually experience as a result of local factors (especially terrain). Ofcom has tested the actual coverage provided in various locations around the UK to help ensure that these predictions are reasonable. The values shown against a property can be broken down as follows:
Clear: No bars, no signal predicted
Red: One bar, reliable signal unlikely
Amber: Two bars, may experience problems with connectivity
Green: Three bars, likely to have good coverage and receive a data rate to support basic web services
Enhanced: Full bars, likely to have good coverage indoors and to receive an enhanced data rate to support multimedia services
Energy Performance data and Internal floor area: obtained on July 8, 2019 from The Energy Performance of Buildings (Certificates and Inspections) (England and Wales) Regulations 2007 or the Home Report if in relation to a residential property in Scotland.
