Features and description

"Once I arrived on Picton Street, I felt part of the community almost instantly. I was made to feel welcome by other people out with their dogs, my lovely neighbours, local shopkeepers and have made lots of friends. From the hustle and bustle of Stokes Croft and Gloucester Road to the peace and quiet of St Andrews Park and St Werburgh's city farm, with lots of my favourite places such as the Gallimaufry, the Bristolian and the Hillgrove in between, this area has everything you could ask for. The flat itself is a haven amidst the city - my dog and I will miss the garden most; it's a tranquil oasis that bathes in sunshine all day and birdsong at dawn and dusk, plus the perfect spot for barbecues or drinks with friends before heading out to the venues in town, most of which are a very walkable distance! I will be so sad to part with this lovely place, but know whoever is here next will love it as much as I have."

Picton Street is a fantastic position within Montpelier, close to St Pauls, Cotham and Stokes Croft. Residents of this immediate area are within easy reach of shops, bars and cafés of Cheltenham Road and Gloucester Road. All within a short walk, The Bristolian, Emmeline, Café Kino, and The Crafty Egg offer a diversity of cafe options, whilst local pubs such as The Cadbury and The Star and Garter come highly recommended. For commuters, the area is extremely well placed for a short walk or cycle into Bristol City Centre. Buses run frequently along the A38 and train transport is available across the city and to Bristol Temple Meads via nearby Montpelier train station. For those looking for access to green space, the house is just a short walk from St Andrews Park and the Narroways Nature Reserve in St Werburghs, whilst getting out to the country via the nearby M32 or Temple Meads train station is also straightforward.

Placed in the beautiful community of Montpellier, is this stunning two double bedroom maisonette with a large private west-facing garden. The maisonette is situated in a Georgian grade-II listed property with an abundance of period features. On the hall-floor, there is a kitchen with bespoke-fit units, a kitchen nestled into the fireplace with a tiled backsplash, alongside wooden floorboards that are a common theme throughout. The kitchen leads into the living room with an exposed brick fireplace that houses a log burner. The bathroom has a full-length bath and white block tiles, alongside a heated towel rack. The lower-ground floor comprises two double bedrooms, and a door that leads out onto the substantial landscaped west-facing garden. Flower beds surround the garden path that takes you to the patio at the back, offering plenty of space to grow vegetables, with the patio offering a tranquil space to socialise and relax alike.
