An enchanting and flexible extended three bedroom character cottage close to the north Cornish coast and Chapel Porth surfing beach with off street parking, beamed ceilings, cosy wood burning stove and suntrap subtropical garden with surf board / bike store. Delightful rural location near Chapel Porth and St Agnes Beacon.

Why You'll Like It
This truly charming and flexible three bedroom character cottage has been extended to create a surprising amount of space. There is a delightful subtropical suntrap garden to the front which incorporates gated off street parking and a rustic style timber and stone garden store which is the perfect place for surfboards and mountain bikes. The property is found on the approach to Chapel Porth beach (Just outside St Agnes village) where there is a lovely cafe and a beautiful life guarded surfing beach. The property has pretty stone walls and timber gates to the front and the garden has some impressive exotic plants including echiums and artichoke etc. The front door opens into the extended part of the cottage which creates a large and spacious dining area looking out to the garden. There's a useful ground floor wet room which doubles as both a shower room and a utility and is ideal for cleaning off and warming up after a trip to the beach or a coastal walk. Next to the wet room is a flexible ground floor room which could be either a study or single bedroom and has a vaulted ceiling and French doors opening to the garden. From the extension you go up steps to either the kitchen or the living room. The kitchen is fitted in a country cottage style with painted shaker style cupboards and a gorgeous beamed ceiling. There's a built-in electric oven and hob and space and plumbing for a dishwasher. There is further space for additional appliances including fridge etc. The worktops are solid timber and there is a single bowl stainless steel sink. In the living room the ceiling is also beamed and it has a very cosy feel with plenty of character including retaining the old window opening to the front of the cottage. A gorgeous wood burner keeps things cosy making this the perfect spot for winter evenings. Upstairs there are two further bedrooms and the bathroom. Bedroom one is a large dual aspect bedroom with built-in cupboards and views of both the countryside and the sea. Bedroom two also has countryside views and built in storage and the family bathroom has been refitted with a space saving bath with shower over and stylish metro tiling.

Where It Is
St Agnes is eternally popular and can be found on the North Cornish Coast. The village itself is lively and offers much in the way of shops, pubs, cafes and friendly services including hairdressers, traditional butchers, bakery etc. The community thrives throughout the year and swells in summer as an exclusive holiday destination for those in the know. There is a gorgeous surfing beach at Trevaunance Cove and plenty of footpaths to explore with walks to nearby beaches at Chapel Porth and Porthtowan where the surf can be world class. The property is located on the way to Chapel Porth from the village and is close to St Agnes Beacon which offers some of the most spectacular views down the north Cornish coast for those feeling energetic. Surfers will love Aggie surf shop down in Peterville Square and Finisterre at Wheal kitty produce and sell stylish, environmentally sensitive clothing. With its proximity to Truro and ease of access to the main A30 St Agnes really is one of the most desirable coastal lifestyle villages in Cornwall.
