We are delighted to be bringing this spacious three bedroom cottage in the popular Dales village of Ingleton to the open market. The property was built in 1984 and offers spacious living accommodation, established garden overlooking open countryside and a garage with light, power and water. We feel this property will be of particular interest to first time buyers, downsizers and investors. Internal viewing highly recommended

Entering through the part glazed front door is the entrance hallway. The hallway provides access to all areas of the home and has an under stairs cupboard that’s great for storage needs.
The dining kitchen faces the front of the property and comes with a range of fitted wall and base units, worktop and a stainless steel sink. Appliances include a Hotpoint stove cooker with gas hob and double oven below. Space and plumbing can also be found to house a Blomberg fridge freezer and an Indesit washing machine. The living room has fitted carpets, a gas fire with back boiler to centre and a window and patio door that overlook the garden that make it lovely and light.

Upstairs are three bedrooms and the house bathroom. Two of the bedrooms are good size doubles with the third being a single. The master bedroom has a fitted a wardrobe and a window that overlooks the rear garden and rolling countryside. The house bathroom has part tiled walls, bath with shower over, wash hand basin, wc and a frosted window to front.

Outside, to the front, there is a single garage with light, power and water. Gradually steps lead to the main front door where there is also a paved area that leads to the rear garden. The garden is very well established and has a good selection of plants and shrubs that add colour and interest. There is also a lawn to centre and a patio seating area to the rear.

Ingleton is a village popular with tourists, especially walkers, being located on the border of the Yorkshire Dales National Park and close to the 'Three Peaks', locally there is some stunning limestone scenery. The village offers a good range of bars, pubs and shops and essential services, together with schools, church and community centre. The village has a good Primary School and is in the catchment for both Settle College and QES, Kirkby Lonsdale. Local amenities are within easy access, including the open air swimming pool and a flagship Co-op grocery store with petrol forecourt. Ingleton is within easy reach of Kendal, Lancaster and the West Yorkshire conurbation.

On entering Ingleton from the direction of Settle, at the petrol station turn right onto Laundry Lane. At the crossroads go straight ahead and when reaching the next junction make a right on to Bank Top. Continue along this road, passing the Co-Op on your right hand side. Follow the road around the S bend and you will soon see the Wheatsheaf public house on your right hand side. Highfield Cottages are located opposite with our for sale board identifying the property.
