Overview - This cherished and preserved cottage has recently undergone a comprehensive modernisation programme with underfloor heating to the ground floor and cave area, re-wiring, heating (both with certificates), re-plumbed and re-roofed amongst some of the items.
Antony Dracup was a well known 20th Century artist and visionary. Whilst living in the cottage he created what can only be described as a 'film set', themed around Alice In Wonderland, not only using his art, but also years of carving into the sandstone cellars to create a medieval themed banqueting hall with pillars.
Our clients are looking for new owners who will enjoy this unique living experience that is now modernised to today's standards for a full enjoyment of what feels like stepping back in time.
Accommodation - It's hard to do justice to the description with the quirky interior, but the principle rooms include a lounge, fitted breakfast kitchen, catacombic carved caves, (all with underfloor heating), bathroom, two bedrooms and access from the landing to the garden (currently inaccessible). Accessed from the main bedroom is a good sized loft room with sky light and fitted cupboards which was formally the artists studio.
Holiday Let - The cottage is presently run as a successful holiday let.
Outside - There are steep terraced gardens to the rear which were originally landscaped by Dracup, but have fallen into disrepair. Parking is available on a first come first served basis in Railways Street, with the nearest car parks at the Severn Valley Railway and Listley Street. Basic: Up to 30 Mbit/s
Super-fast: Between 30 Mbit/s and 300 Mbit/s

Ofcom has tested the actual coverage provided in various locations around the UK to help ensure that these predictions are reasonable. The values shown against a property can be broken down as follows:

Red: One bar, reliable signal unlikely
Amber: Two bars, may experience problems with connectivity
Green: Three bars, likely to have good coverage and receive a data rate to support basic web services
Enhanced: Full bars, likely to have good coverage indoors and to receive an enhanced data rate to support multimedia services
