Hemingstone is a small village located approximately 5.1 miles east of the town of Needham Market and 6.3 miles north of Ipswich. Barebuck wood is located along Sandy Lane, to the south west of Hemingstone.

Barebuck Wood is a spacious wood with a diverse mix of terrain in a wide park-like setting. The wood comprises a mix of young and old trees including Oak, Ash, Birch, Pines, Cherry and Sycamore trees. Throughout the wood are good tracks and plenty of clearing.
Access
There is vehicular access all year around via the hard track that leads up from the gate at the main entrance off of Sandy Lane. Barebuck wood is easily accessible via the A14.

Heading from our Stowmarket office, take the A14 towards Ipswich. After 5.8 miles take exit 51 and then take the second exit onto the A14 slip road. After 0.1 miles take the left onto Norwich Road and carry on along this road for 2 miles. Take a left onto Sandy Lane. After approximately 1 mile the main entrance to the woodland will be on the right.
