Description

Thornton Hill is a rather unique single storey, stone built detached property situated in a discrete position on the edge of the village, enjoying some fabulous far reaching views across neighbouring countryside, extending as far as the North Yorkshire Moors to the north and Yorkshire Wolds to the East.

The house stands close to the centre of its sizeable garden, a driveway finished in brick leads to a parking area alongside a substantial integral garage, which provides space for two cars and additional storage. Orientating towards the most appealing views, the property is entered via a large part glazed vestibule, providing access to the garage and the inner hall. Leading from here are a series of well proportioned living rooms, a well equipped and beautifully maintained kitchen/breakfast room and three double bedrooms, all with large double glazed picture windows providing contrasting views of the surrounding gardens and land. There is a sizeable house bathroom and separate w/c and one of the living rooms could serve as a fourth bedroom, with space to create an en suite bathroom if desired.

The property has an immaculate timber stable block and adjoining paddock, ideal for those looking to keep horses.
