A stylish example of 1930’s architecture, this attached home has been the subject of thoughtful extension and reconfiguration to provide much sought-after contemporary living in one of the village’s very best roads. The village primary school is located just a couple of hundred yards away with a great many independent schooling options available too and the village centre with station is within less than 10 minutes easy walk.

This beautiful home has been the subject of a great many sensitive changes and improvements over the past four years and now offers what we as an agency consider to be an exemplar of modern living. The ground floor provides accommodation of a traditional front reception room, entrance hall with cloakroom / WC and an expansive, extended and refitted kitchen / family room with masses of natural light, bifold doors to the garden and a clever use of the rear of this room as an independently accessible home gym or study with glazed doors. Upstairs there is a choice of three bedrooms, two of which are good doubles with the standard 1930’s smaller third bedroom currently in use as a dressing room but a perfectly adequate single if required. The family bathroom has been beautifully refurbished and the rear (principal) bedroom suite also benefits from an eye-catching and high quality, full en suite bathroom. Externally, there is really generous off-road parking available to the front of the property with an extensive block-paved forecourt. The rear garden extends in all to in excess of 172 feet and is enclosed with a large, full width sun patio and lawned to offer the simplest possible garden for a young family or alternatively a blank canvas. The village park and recreation ground lies to the rear and the next owners could quite readily create their own pedestrian access if desired. EPC E

NEW NAME. SAME COMMITMENT In 2021, my sister Claire and I took over the business that our father established in 2002. Since then, we’ve been on an incredible journey – and one that culminated in 2023 with a rebrand that saw us change from Grosvenor Billinghurst to Grosvenor . However, our new name quickly caught the attention of an asset management company, with a similar name, and we entered into legal discussions. Of course, being faced with this predicament so soon after launching a new identity was initially a blow; we had invested a lot of time, money and energy into the rebrand. But after really reflecting on the name Grosvenor in the context of the direction the business is now heading in, this new problem became an exciting opportunity. Firstly, Grosvenor was simply a name chosen by our father many years ago. It had no real bearing on who we are as a business today. Nor did it have any direct links back to Claire and I as owners. Furthermore, as a second-generation family business, it’s our name that is, as they say, above the door. And it’s our name that’s important when it comes to driving the business forwards – not Grosvenor. So, whilst the decision to change our name for a second time in 12 months was initiated by external factors, we’re glad that it’s happened. Now, the values that form the foundation of the business are no longer ascribed to Grosvenor , but to Davies Property Partners – our new (and final) name. With our family name now at the centre of the business and this newfound opportunity to celebrate our roots, we feel more invigorated than ever. As a family-owned and managed business that’s started a brand-new chapter, we now look forward to continuing our journey and being part of yours as you embark on your next chapter – either as a seller, buyer, landlord or tenant.
