Being approximately 3 miles from Minehead and approximately 2 1/2 miles from the sea the village of Carhampton has a village hall with recreation field, the Anglican Church of St John the Baptist, local public house and community orchard, Wassailed yearly.
The coastal resort of Minehead has a comprehensive range of facilities, whilst the County town of Taunton has mainline rail connections, access to the motorway network and is approximately twenty two miles to the east.
For those who enjoy exploring the countryside there are superb walks to and in the nearby Dunster Deer Park whilst the village is also situated on the edge of the Exmoor National Park, the Quantock, the Brendon and Exmoor Hills.
Alternatively you may wish to explore the sea front at Blue Anchor with its free parking, public toilets, stop of the steam coast railway and sea front cafe.
From our office in Minehead proceed out on the A39 towards Williton by-passing the village of Dunster.
On entering the village of Carhampton proceed through the village taking the second turning on the right (opposite the former post office/general store) into High Street.
Proceed to the T-junction with Park Lane turning left and then taking the next turning left into The Crescent where upon the bungalow will be found second on your right hand side.
