Why the owner loves the property:
We have loved living at The Spinney with our two boys. We really love the high ceiling within the open kitchenliving room, which is always bright thanks to the skylight. This makes the space feel so much bigger and more open.We have also enjoyed the enclosed and private garden, allowing us to open up the kitchen bifold door in the summer and enjoy the inside-out living space. The house never gets too hot in the summer, and on the rare occasion that it does, the basement is nice and cool, allowing us to cool down and escape the heat without needing an air conditioner.The basement is a very versatile space, and its use changes depending on the need. When the kids were younger, we decorated the space to become their playroom, which was ideal, as the toys are out of the way, but you can still hear what they are up to.When the boys became older, we used the basement as an office during the day and then as a movie and gaming room in the evening and on weekends. This is a space that we have enjoyed together and have made lots of great memories. Because of the basement, a big space for the kids to play, their bedrooms have been used just for sleeping, reading, and listening to or making music.This was the perfect house for us.
