Situation
Oast End is situated in the popular village of Tarrington, which is conveniently located midway between Hereford and Ledbury. Renowned for its beautiful, unspoilt, and timeless appeal, the surrounding countryside is characterised by orchards, traditional farms, and wooded hills. The parish of Tarrington and neighbouring villages form part of the “Woolhope Dome” which preserves and enhances the high-value landscape of this area. This area offers a sought-after rural idyll combined with excellent road and mainline rail links to the rest of the country.

Oast End
* Oast End is a very good sized barn conversion, converted from a former Oast House, which was historically used for storing and drying hops. The property retains some original features relating to its former life and was originally built c.1790, with a later addition (second gable) added c. 1890. * This spacious home offers generous accommodation situated over 3 floors, with high ceilings and flexible living space.

Oast End Ctd.
* A welcoming entrance hall leads through to the country-style kitchen/breakfast room, with its attractive painted cupboards and solid oak work surfaces. There is an electric Aga and space for a dishwasher and fridge-freezer. The downstairs WC has been cleverly designed to create space for a washing machine. * A spacious family/dining room leads straight off the kitchen and is complemented by engineered oak flooring and is a great space for both family time and socialising. A single French door leads directly out to the garden. * Stairs lead up to a light galleried landing and the spacious sitting room with Clearview wood burner set upon an attractive, reclaimed Welsh slate hearth. This delightful room is ideally situated to make the most of the views over the adjoining pastureland.

Oast End Ctd.
* Additionally, there is a good-sized double bedroom with double aspect and a large family bathroom on the first floor. * A second staircase leads up to the second floor, where there are three further double bedrooms, including the main bedroom, which has a spacious en-suite with both bath and shower. * The main loft space is fully boarded and offers good storage. Natural light is via an original louvered window.

The Outside
* The property is situated within a pretty and quiet courtyard setting of 11 properties, with a lovely community feel. The properties form a “U”-shape around an attractive lawned area with gravelled pathways and a variety of mature planting. * Oast End has its own private and large rear garden, mainly lawn, with a lovely old quince tree, a willow tree, two espalier apple trees, gooseberry and blackcurrant bushes. * A variety of mature roses and shrubs provide colour and interest from spring through to the autumn. In addition, there is a raised veg bed, log store and lawned side garden.

The Outside Ctd.
* The garden offers plenty of scope for keen gardeners, has a dog proof fence around it and has a wonderful outlook over the adjoining pastureland. * There is a single brick-built garage and parking in front for up to 3 vehicles. A separate parking area provides parking for visiting guests.
