Drakes Court is a select modern development of just six quality homes set on a prominent corner plot on the lower slopes of St Marychurch.  This particular TOWN HOUSE provides well presented accommodation which has been modernised and enhanced by the current owners, including the upgrading of both the kitchen and shower room.  The well-proportioned and easily maintained accommodation provides a comfortable sitting room which flows into the modern re-fitted kitchen, with two bedrooms and a shower room/WC to the first floor.  The accommodation is complimented by gas central heating and PVCu double glazing.  To the rear of the property there is a level lawned garden with the property also benefitting from one allocated parking space in the residents car park, as well as a private lockable store.  The house presents as an ideal main residence or buy-to-let investment opportunity.

At the top of the hill lies the comprehensive amenities of St Marychurch with wide choice of shops and eateries, whilst the scenic Babbacombe Downs with shingle beaches below is equally accessible. A host of schools are within a short walk, with Priory and St Margarets Primary's on the door step. Numerous leisure and sports clubs are close at hand, with Babbacombe Corinthian Sailing Club at the base of the pedestrian precinct, and Torquay Golf Club virtually a tee shot away.

OWNER INSIGHT

“Having previously lived in Torquay we realised the benefits that living in St Marychurch offers and when we decided to downsize from our former home we were excited to have the opportunity of moving here, a move that we have never regretted, despite the work time and effort that we have had to spend creating what we feel is now a lovely home. Having lived our dream here for the last 7 years we have made the difficult decision to downsize again, but due to the convenience of the location will certainly be looking to stay close to the comprehensive range of shops and amenities that St Marychurch offers. We have found Drakes Court such a lovely place to live, with friendly neighbours looking out for one another but respecting each other’s privacy. I know that it sounds a little bit cliché, but I really wish that we could take our neighbours with us, although I know that they will certainly make any new owners feel very welcome.”
