My five years living here have flown by, in part due to the convenience that living here offers. There is a well-equipped gym in the basement, a private car parking space in a secure underground car park, a concierge service, on-site security and more, all while being a short six minute walk from the Upton Park underground station. What I love about the flat itself is the space it offers; much in excess of comparable properties that I viewed when making the decision to buy this one.
West Ham park and Central Park are both within walking distance and offer open green spaces and it’s been great to see local new spots pop up as the Upton Gardens development neared completion. The local pub (a short two minute walk away) The Boleyn is absolutely fantastic and was painstakingly restored by the new owners to its former Victorian glory for its reopening. There is a real community feel within the development, with various social groups and marketplaces should you wish to take part. I will be sad to leave but looking to upsize is leading me to do so.
