As we start to describe this good size family home, we have to start with the fact that whilst in good structural condition (It only had a structural survey 2 years ago), it is in need of a bit of TLC here and there and that reflects in the price as these properties sell for around £350,000 when in A1 condition. Having said all that, is is perfectly ok to move into and complete any work you fell you might want to do bit by bit. To help you imagine what this property could look like, we have added some AI images to help you see what can be achieved.
Tucked away in a quiet pedestrian part of this ever popular road, means that children are safe from traffic if playing or running around outside.
There is a good size porch which is an excellent feature on any property as it helps keep cold air out (keeping heating bills lower), and also keeps wet coats and muddy shoes where they should be!
The Lounge / Diner is an impressive 19.55 sqm and is a blank canvas. In the images here, you will see the first of our AI generated images to give you just one idea of what can be achieved.
There are doors that lead into the small hallway and the kitchen.
The Kitchen also has a small area that could be used for dining. The main kitchen area is in good condition in the main, although some cosmetic work (mainly painting) needs to be done. The floor is tiled as is the wall behind the hob and units. There is a nice size breakfast bar.
The Utility room in accessed from the kitchen and also has another door which is a second front door. This unusual feature is quite common to Harlow. This utility room has enough room for a washer / dryer and storage space.
Upstairs we have 2 large double bedrooms and a 3rd bedroom that once upon a time would been considered a single BUT in 2024 they get called a small double (we will leave it to you to decide). We have put an AI image on here for all three bedrooms. We have also done the same for the family bathroom. Currently there is a bathtub with electric shower & washbasin. There is also a heated towel rail. The Toilet is separate. We think this is a handy feature.
The rear garden is an absolute plus for this property. It is a good size and has two patio areas, one by the house and the other at the bottom of the garden. The remainder of the garden is laid to lawn. The cracking green space can be left just as it is OR could be turned into a gardeners paradise depending on your requirements.
It is also well worth noting that planning permission has been granted for several similar properties in the road for extensions, and whilst there is never a cast iron guarantee that permission would be granted, it's a fairly good bet that it would be! A single or even a two storey extension would make this property huge and yet you would still have a good size garden. You could also erect a summerhouse or home office at the bottom of the garden if required.
So this property is an absolute superb starter home or for someone downsizing.

Basic: Up to 30 Mbit/s
Super-fast: Between 30 Mbit/s and 300 Mbit/s

The data is updated three times a year. The checker results are predictions and should not be regarded as guaranteed. For more information, see: https://checker.ofcom.org.uk/en-gb/about-checker#Answer_0_2
Mobile phone signal availability and predicted strength: obtained from Ofcom on February 1, 2022
Mobile signal predictions are provided by the four UK mobile network operators: EE, O2, Three and Vodafone. Predictions can vary significantly from the coverage you may actually experience as a result of local factors (especially terrain). Ofcom has tested the actual coverage provided in various locations around the UK to help ensure that these predictions are reasonable. The values shown against a property can be broken down as follows:
Clear: No bars, no signal predicted
Red: One bar, reliable signal unlikely
Amber: Two bars, may experience problems with connectivity
Green: Three bars, likely to have good coverage and receive a data rate to support basic web services
Enhanced: Full bars, likely to have good coverage indoors and to receive an enhanced data rate to support multimedia services
Energy Performance data and Internal floor area: obtained on March 22, 2020 from The Energy Performance of Buildings (Certificates and Inspections) (England and Wales) Regulations 2007 or the Home Report if in relation to a residential property in Scotland.
