Situation and Schooling
The village of Lavendon is situated at the very north of Buckinghamshire, close to the borders with Northamptonshire and Bedfordshire. The village has a village shop and post office, two public houses/restaurants and an outstanding nursery and primary school. Lavendon is also in catchment for the Olney schools or there is a bus service to the independent Harpur Trust schools in Bedford, about 9.5 miles away. There is access to many countryside walks including the famous Three Shires Way.
