Description
Belsize House is a beautiful home offering characterful living set in lovely gardens. We understand that the house at its oldest part dates back to the 17th century. The house has been owned by the same family for many years and offers comfortable living space that lends itself to some improvement.
Belsize House opens into a welcoming reception hall which could be used as a study. The pretty sitting room has a lovely outlook to the front and features a wonderful period fireplace - ideal for those cosy evenings and a built-in corner unit and a wealth of beams. There is also a lovely snug - a great place in which to relax at the end of the day. The kitchen/dining room features a quarry tiled floor and is fitted with wall and floor units with integrated appliances and the dining area is flooded with natural light and has doors out to a terrace. To complete the ground floor space there is a utility room, cloakroom and cellar.
Stairs from the hall rise to the first floor and open into a lovely light and generous landing. The principal bedroom has a beamed and vaulted ceiling and built-in cupboards. There are two further double bedrooms, a family bathroom and a single bedroom which would be ideal for a toddler or make a good study.
Outside - The gardens are an outstanding feature of this home and wrap around the house with the plot being about 0.25 acres overall. The gardens are laid to lawn and feature well stocked borders. To the side of the dining room is a screened terrace ideal for entertaining and at the top of the garden is a further seating area with the views across the fields. To the left of the garden is a large double garage with light and power and there is plenty of parking in front of the house.
Location
Belsize House is situated in a prominent semi-rural location in the pretty hamlet of Belsize.

Broadband availability and predicted speed: obtained from Ofcom on February 12, 2024
Broadband speed is measured in megabits per second, with the number returned showing how fast the connection is. Each reading is based on the highest predicted speed of any major broadband network for services that deliver the download speeds. The following are the different readings that we may display:
Basic: Up to 30 Mbit/s
Super-fast: Between 30 Mbit/s and 300 Mbit/s
Ultra-fast: Over 300 Mbit/s
The data is updated three times a year. The checker results are predictions and should not be regarded as guaranteed. For more information, see: https://checker.ofcom.org.uk/en-gb/about-checker#Answer_0_2
Mobile phone signal availability and predicted strength: obtained from Ofcom on February 12, 2024
Mobile signal predictions are provided by the four UK mobile network operators: EE, O2, Three and Vodafone. Predictions can vary significantly from the coverage you may actually experience as a result of local factors (especially terrain). Ofcom has tested the actual coverage provided in various locations around the UK to help ensure that these predictions are reasonable. The values shown against a property can be broken down as follows:
Clear: No bars, no signal predicted
Red: One bar, reliable signal unlikely
Amber: Two bars, may experience problems with connectivity
Green: Three bars, likely to have good coverage and receive a data rate to support basic web services
Enhanced: Full bars, likely to have good coverage indoors and to receive an enhanced data rate to support multimedia services
