Gwel Teg from the Cornish meaning Gwel – The View & Teg - Beautiful, is a very pretty and very well maintained detached coastal home of white painted render exterior, with contrasting light blue painted detail all of which is neatly presented under a dark grey tiled roof, the accommodation, which is light, bright and easily managed is laid across one level and all front facing rooms have spectacular and uninterrupted waterscape views towards the Isle of Arran and Ailsa Craig.

Outer front door to glass porch with sea views; inner front door to T-shaped vestibule with open plan lounge/dining/kitchen for easy living, as well as bathroom and linen cupboard on the right. Picture and side windows ensure land- and seascapes are part of life here. From the vestibule to the left are two bedrooms, the back one currently used as a study and the front bedroom, the jewel of the house, allows the sleeper to awake to glorious sunrises and step into the warm porch to start the day with breakfast. There is an option to proceed from the front door through the porch bypassing the bedroom, should this be more convenient for owners. Leaving the porch there is a suite of 3 flexible rooms equally useful for owner or guest as bedroom, ensuite shower/bath and lounge or as reading room, family bathroom and conservatory for relaxing, watching passing ships like the Waverley, or playing table tennis. As the garden is a feature of this property, there are doors to the outside from bathroom 2 and conservatory, making it easy to kick off boots or shower before entering the house. All three bedrooms have built in wardrobe cupboards with flexible shelving. Both bathrooms have towel rail radiators.

Garden

The bungalow occupies a double plot on its northern flank, currently landscaped with a variety of tropical shrubs and trees in a gravel setting, cream porcelain stepping stones throughout leading to woodland paths. In front of the house, grass terraces lead to sheltered seating areas. The patio behind the conservatory being a particularly sunny sheltered corner. Crazy paving behind the main house affords further seating in the sun, shielded from the cul de sac by beds of hydrangea, fuschia, buddleia and rhododendron.

Full profileProperty listingsHome Report
The business model of Estate Agency and Lettings distribution has changed, no longer do people pour over local papers searching for their dream home; no longer do they need to look in estate agents' windows or queue to discuss search criteria with estate agency or lettings receptionists. In recognising this, we have changed too, we have evolved to develop an efficient business model which pro-actively distributes property globally via our well managed database and digitally via the world wide web. Good systems are important to us, however, Estate & Lettings Agency is a people business, our people have been carefully selected for their scope of property and customer interfacing expertise. We recruit intelligent, clear thinking and articulate property professionals. The team has an average of 20 years’ experience in the industry and we are proud to have been behind some of the most high profile and often complex sales and property asset management deals in the West of Scotland. At Robb Residential we can’t say we are the largest firm, we’re not. At Robb Residential, we can’t say we are the smallest firm; we’re not. Our point of difference lies in our people and in the delivery of service excellence. The Robb Residential team owns and shares in its commitment to delivering that service excellence, and so what we can say with a measure of assured confidence is that we will be the best.
