Dating from the early 1900s, the attractive elevations are a combination of painted brick with half tile hanging under a pitched roof covered in clay tiles. The spacious accommodation extends to about 3,278 sq ft and includes high ceilings, large windows and open fireplaces. On the ground floor the entrance lobby opens into the dining hall, which opens into the kitchen breakfast room, with doors opening into the garden. The remainder of the ground floor accommodation includes a sitting room with an attractive open fireplace, a 30’6 triple aspect drawing room with open fireplace, a cloakroom and utility room. The first floor includes a landing with all the bedrooms having lovely far reaching rural views. The main bedroom includes a dressing room and en suite bathroom, and there are three further bedrooms, a family bathroom and separate wc.

Outside, the property is approached over a gravel entrance drive providing parking for several cars, with a front garden to one side. The brick-built garage building includes a double length garage (27’7) and a workshop/store. A gate opens into the large rear garden, which is mainly laid to lawn and includes a large terrace at the rea of the house, opening onto the heated pool with timber framed pool house to one side. The garden is mainly bordered on 2 sides by matures hedges, with various matures shrubs and trees and, at the far end there is an open view onto the adjacent farmland, with several mature oak and apple trees along the border. To one side of the garden the detached studio has a vaulted ceiling, with a wood burning stove, a store (potential bathroom) and first floor potential bedroom. Attached to one end of the studio is a large garden shed. In all extending to about 0.7 of an acre.
