Prior to 1926 ‘Perseverance Works’ it was owned by local corn and seed merchants. Thereafter it was part of ‘Edwards’ garages until 1965 when it was sold. In 1977 it became a tie factory for a Ross-on-Wye businessman suppling high street shops such as M&S. From 1977 until 1988 it was the UK headquarters for a company importing enamelled kitchen and heating boiler products.
