Another gorgeous living space for you lucky people!  Before we dive in to this 3 floor delight of a maisonette, let's just spend a moment on why Poet's is THE place to be! PC remains a firm favourite for young families and those appreciating the benefits of a friendly community in an amazingly convenient location. If you fancy being part of a community that gets things done to enhance the neighbourhood and looks after its residents - you will be in the right place. Would a convenient station on your doorstep to get you to London be a plus? Are you up for enjoying a choice of fabulous local pubs, artisan & boutique shops? How about a growing restaurant and cafe culture within comfortable walking distance? Failing that - would the best wood fired pizza from the van by St Peters Church tempt you on board? In fairness - there's a number of pizza wonders on Portland Road (like Rustico and Pizzaface).

So here we have a vibrant community, with plenty of activities and local amenities. Great schools and nurseries, with green spaces and lots of opportunities to get out and about (Stoneham Park, Wish park, Hove Lagoon, the Seafront). Pubs, Stations, and Pizza - that'll do it!

What of this Wordsworth beauty then? No need to wander lonely as a cloud in this friendly street - ok, enough of that. On entering the maisonette there's a vestibule for coats and shoes, through original stripped wood double doors into the main hallway. The master bedroom is an excellent size and has plenty of room for wardrobes etc. Next door is another large double with built in wardrobe. Making our way to the bathroom at the rear, the understairs area houses storage and the washing machine - an excellent use of space. The Bathroom has a tastefully tiled floor and wall. The bath is large and perfect for long relaxing soaks and the large shower head does a fab job for when up against time.

Up we go to the large reception room and kitchen. Lots of lovely daylight floods through the four windows. Stripped wooden floors look fabulous. The large breakfast bar and opening to the kitchen work brilliantly. In truth calling it a breakfast bar doesn't do it justice as it works as a full on dining table. It's a great spot to dine or talk to chef whilst they are making culinary magic.  The kitchen has a lovely period fireplace and exposed brick chimney breast. Wooden work surfaces and a white butler sink look the part. Shaker style units and cupboards compliment the period feel and we are cooking on gas for fans of a real flame on their hob.

Again we go up - this time to another large double bedroom in the converted loft room. The large Velux windows let the light and breeze through on a summers day. It comfortably houses a large bed and plenty of furniture. The clever design incorporates lots of eave storage too.

Ofcom has tested the actual coverage provided in various locations around the UK to help ensure that these predictions are reasonable. The values shown against a property can be broken down as follows:

Clear: No bars, no signal predicted

Amber: Two bars, may experience problems with connectivity
Green: Three bars, likely to have good coverage and receive a data rate to support basic web services
Enhanced: Full bars, likely to have good coverage indoors and to receive an enhanced data rate to support multimedia services

Energy Performance data and Internal floor area: obtained on May 6, 2024 from The Energy Performance of Buildings (Certificates and Inspections) (England and Wales) Regulations 2007 or the Home Report if in relation to a residential property in Scotland.
