The park is situated 5 minutes from junction 40 (Penrith) of the M6. It is a 10 minute drive from Penrith town centre, where you will find all amenities including supermarkets, clothing, camping shops. It is also a 10 minute drive from the idyllic little village of Pooley bridge which is on the shores of Lake Ullswater. There is a boat service from here which travels all around Lake Ullswater. The lake also has plenty of water activity hire.

The park itself boast a lovely lakeside restaurant with children's play area outside and crazy golf. There are also lots of activity companies which visit the site. There is a dog agility area for your pets with dog washing stations.

As of next year (2025), the park will be opening a luxury spa retreat overlooking the lake. All the staff are very friendly.

Ullswater Heights has a 12 month open season for second home / holiday use.
