Land.
The farm extends to approximately 54.25 ha (134 acres) or thereby of prime agricultural land. The farm sits at a height of between 85 m in the south to 130 m in the north west. The land has a generally southerly aspect.

Soil
The soils are of the Balrownie and Forfar series being drifts of Lower Old Red Sandstone often water modified. The principal soil type is a sandy loam overlying a sandy loam or a sandy clay. The soils are capable of producing a wide range of arable crops and potatoes. Mains water is available to land but in addition there is a borehole facility in the south east of the farm taking water from the small burn. The land is divided into four blocks which are all capable of accommodating large modern agricultural machinery.
