The current owners had always dreamed of living in a beautiful, period house. They had spent hours scrolling through property websites, searching for the perfect place to call home. Finally, they had found it - a stunning house with tall windows, high ceilings and intricate cornicing. And as it needed refurbishment they relished the opportunity to improve and create their own paradise.
After all their hard work, as soon as you step inside this house, you will quickly realise the quality and standard of work in this amazing home. The hallway is grand and imposing, with a sweeping staircase leading up to the first floor. The living room is spacious and light, with a large bay window with an elevated view of the street. The dining room is equally impressive, with a beautiful fireplace and a space for a large dining table, and is open plan to the kitchen area.
If you love to cook, the kitchen in this house will be a dream come true. It has all the necessary appliances and plenty of workspace, making it the perfect place to prepare elaborate meals for friends and family.
Upstairs there are three large bedrooms - each one decorated in a different style. The principal bedroom is our favourite, with enough room for a large bed, wardrobe space, and the beautiful character feature fireplace.
But it is the outbuilding that could really seal the deal for those who work from home or need a gym/workshop. A lot of people we speak to always want a space where they could exercise, but also needed somewhere to work. This outbuilding is perfect for both - with a section of the room dedicated to gym equipment and another area set up as a studio/office.
The location of the house was ideal too. It was just a short walk from the town centre, with its shops, restaurants, and cafes. And the train station was less than 1 mile away on foot, making it easy for you to travel to London for work.
Living in their beautiful period house has been a dream come true for them. They are now ready for their next adventure. Having the outbuilding meant that they could pursue their passions and hobbies without having to compromise on space.

OnTheMarket may have applied supplementary data to this property listing, including:
Broadband availability and predicted speed: obtained from Ofcom on April 25, 2023
Broadband speed is measured in megabits per second, with the number returned showing how fast the connection is. Each reading is based on the highest predicted speed of any major broadband network for services that deliver the download speeds. The following are the different readings that we may display:
Basic: Up to 30 Mbit/s
Super-fast: Between 30 Mbit/s and 300 Mbit/s
Ultra-fast: Over 300 Mbit/s
The data is updated three times a year. The checker results are predictions and should not be regarded as guaranteed. For more information, see: https://checker.ofcom.org.uk/en-gb/about-checker#Answer_0_2
Mobile phone signal availability and predicted strength: obtained from Ofcom on April 25, 2023
Mobile signal predictions are provided by the four UK mobile network operators: EE, O2, Three and Vodafone. Predictions can vary significantly from the coverage you may actually experience as a result of local factors (especially terrain). Ofcom has tested the actual coverage provided in various locations around the UK to help ensure that these predictions are reasonable. The values shown against a property can be broken down as follows:
Clear: No bars, no signal predicted
Red: One bar, reliable signal unlikely
Amber: Two bars, may experience problems with connectivity
Green: Three bars, likely to have good coverage and receive a data rate to support basic web services
Enhanced: Full bars, likely to have good coverage indoors and to receive an enhanced data rate to support multimedia services
Energy Performance data and Internal floor area: obtained on February 17, 2014 from The Energy Performance of Buildings (Certificates and Inspections) (England and Wales) Regulations 2007 or the Home Report if in relation to a residential property in Scotland.
