Altdarroch is a lovely 3 bedroom first floor flat with spectacular views to the sea located in the popular coastal village of Toward. The property has own front garden and parking for 2 cars and would make a great home or holiday flat.

The property forms the upper floor on the north side of a traditional Victorian stone-built building on the outskirts of Toward opposite the Clyde Estuary. The property benefits from stunning views to the water with the Ayrshire hills on the opposite shore.  A regular bus service running between Toward and Dunoon which is approximately 6 miles to the north of the property.

Altdarroch is entered via a shared driveway to an external staircase on the side of the building leading to the porch and into the hallway; the hall leads off to all rooms including the large sitting room which retains many original features including decorative cornicing, high skirting boards and wood panelling at the side of the bay window.  A single bedroom and a double bedroom are located to the front of the property with a further double bedroom to the rear along with the spacious kitchen and bathroom.  The bathroom has a bath and a separate shower cubicle and there is plenty of storage cupboards throughout the property. The windows are double glazed and the heating is gas central heating.

Altdarroch is located at the start of the village of Toward south of Innellan which offers a variety of local amenities including newsagents and sub post office, village hall, primary schools, a church, two pub/diners. Dunoon Town Centre is approximately 6 miles.

The road along the south shore of this part of the Cowal Peninsula enjoys spectacular views over the Firth of Clyde to Ayrshire, Cumbrae and the Isle of Bute (and the mountains of Arran beyond it). Further interest is added by the steady stream of vessels passing through these busy waters including around 50 cruise liners a year. With a particularly good view afforded of the ferries between Wemyss Bay and Rothesay on the Isle of Bute. The shore itself is stony, but it does offer attractive bays well worth exploring. Dunoon is the marine gateway to Loch Lomond and the Trossachs, Scotlands first National Park, and has a number of local amenities including a cinema, two supermarkets, several choice restaurants and bars, primary and secondary schools, library, Post Office, doctor's surgeries, Hospital and veterinary clinic, leisure centre with

swimming pool and gym.

A regular local bus service operates in the area and there are bus and coach services to popular regions across the West of Scotland. Regular passenger ferry services operate from Dunoon Pier to Gourock with regular bus and train connections to Glasgow Central railway station. The train stops at Paisley Gilmore Street en route, which is convenient for access to Glasgow Airport. Western Ferries located at Hunters Quay also offers a regular vehicle service to McInroys Point in Gourock for access to the national road network.

Ofcom has tested the actual coverage provided in various locations around the UK to help ensure that these predictions are reasonable. The values shown against a property can be broken down as follows:

Clear: No bars, no signal predicted

Amber: Two bars, may experience problems with connectivity
Green: Three bars, likely to have good coverage and receive a data rate to support basic web services
Enhanced: Full bars, likely to have good coverage indoors and to receive an enhanced data rate to support multimedia services
