The farmhouse dates back to 1778 and offers a true character cottage but with unusually good proportions! Step inside, and you’re instantly greeted by a great sense of spaciousness with a large boot room/entrance hall to the centre and to the right is the first of three reception rooms. This room is a perfect snug with a log burning stove taking centre stage and views across the garden to the front. Across the entrance hall is the main sitting room supported by sturdy oak beams and a vast whitewashed stone inglenook fireplace

The wealth of period features and surprisingly spacious accommodation continues into the kitchen/breakfast room which leads directly onto a utility area with cloakroom and a further dining room where we can access the rear garden and its own feature well (original to the farm), a charming nook to relax in. The kitchen also has an oak beamed inglenook, but this has been incorporated to provide more storage space and sits alongside the gas hob range cooker and a freestanding dishwasher. The remainder of the white goods are situated in the utility space.

We access the first floor from the entrance hall which provides a large understairs cupboard. Upstairs are four double bedrooms each, served by two separate bathrooms, one with a large modern bathtub and the other a walk in shower. The primary bedroom is full of charm with oak beams and views to the front garden plus storage on two sides.

Outside, the lawned garden and cottage planting is neatly enclosed by fencing which makes it perfect for young families and provides a very private outdoor space to the front which faces due south. Beyond this is the driveway with parking for two cars and shared access to the neighbouring properties.
