  • Not Listed
  • 5 Bedrooms
  • Separate Cottage
  • Tennis court
  • Stabling and equestrian facilities
  • 8. 4 acres
The property comprises an impressive and very well-proportioned period house and is believed to date from the late Georgian or Regency period. The rooms have high ceilings and large sash windows which flood them with light. The accommodation is ideal for entertaining, with some excellent reception rooms. For modern family living, the well-equipped kitchen is the heart of the house. A glazed garden room leads off and beyond is a family room and gym. Steps lead down to a home cinema. From the reception hall an elegant cantilevered stone staircase leads to the first floor which has five bedrooms and four bathrooms. There is also a large cellar. Leigh House is not Listed.

Leigh House has two entrances. The main entrance, with electric gates, opens onto a gravelled driveway leading past formal gardens and a pond to the front of the house. To the side is a substantial building comprising garaging for three cars and a cottage with open plan ground floor living space and two double bedrooms and
a bathroom above.

The main garden lies to the east and comprises wide flat lawns with a wildlife pond and a summerhouse to one side. To the north is a formal walled garden with raised beds and a glasshouse. In the south east corner is a hard tennis court. The equestrian facilities include stabling for six horses, a hay barn, tack room and WC. There is also a lunging ring, an all-weather manège and plenty of parking for a horsebox. To the south are a number of paddocks.

The Leigh is a small village, lying to the west of The Cotswolds, and is about equidistant from Cheltenham, Tewkesbury and Gloucester. These centres provide excellent shopping and recreational facilities. Tewkesbury has its famous Abbey, Gloucester its Cathedral and Rugby stadium and Cheltenham is acknowledged to have first class shopping as well as the Literary Festival and the racecourse. Many good walks and rides in the area as well as other sporting opportunities. Excellent communication being about 6 miles from the M5.

Ofcom has tested the actual coverage provided in various locations around the UK to help ensure that these predictions are reasonable. The values shown against a property can be broken down as follows:

Clear: No bars, no signal predicted

Amber: Two bars, may experience problems with connectivity
Green: Three bars, likely to have good coverage and receive a data rate to support basic web services
