Location

The property is located on chapel road, which is a quiet lane with little in the way of passing traffic. The village of Boxted lies just to the north of the city of Colchester in north Essex, meaning there are extensive services only a few miles to the South, including a mainline railway station with direct services to London Liverpool Street.

The Dedham Vale Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty is located less than a mile to the north where there is excellent walking and a number of notable historic villages including Dedham, Nayland, East Bergholt and Stoke by Nayland.
