The woodland adjoins the A264 road 6.4 miles to the east of East Grinstead just after the junction with the B2026 Hartfield/Edenbridge Road. Tunbridge Wells is 7 miles, Crowborough 8 miles, Edenbridge 2 miles and Lingfield 10 miles.
DESCRIPTION
An attractive parcel forming part of a larger block of ancient and semi-natural woodland known as Cullinghurst Wood. This enchanting block shown coloured blue on the plan has an oak and ash overstorey with some beech and a good largely hornbeam and silver birch understorey. Open spaces let in sunlight and there are interesting gullies and holes.
The western and eastern boundaries are not fenced – the vendors will be under no obligation to define them, but the sale plan gives GPS plotting details for information purposes.
The woodland is not in any Countryside Stewardship Agreement or under a Woodland Management Plan.
