Homes of pure distinction and outstanding locations are hard to come by, but we think with this stunning three bedroom 1950’s home we could just have just found the house! The exceptional interior is a true credit to the seller, with beautiful appointed décor and fittings in every room, and we haven't even mentioned the manicured garden to the rear which we will come back to later.
So, let’s tell you about the house inside, we start with a useful internal porch which opens onto a hall which has restored wood block flooring, a staircase rising to the first floor, while doors open into the main reception rooms. The lounge to the front, has the same wood block flooring which continues through from the hall, while a lovely walk into bay window is just a further feature of the room, plus for those cosy evenings a gas fire is set within a stone fireplace surround. A set of glazed double doors open into the rear dining room, which is the perfect size for entertaining, while the seller has cleverly thought about storage and had built in furniture added. The room also has timber flooring to add to those attractive period features. From the dining room a conservatory is perfectly placed to sit back in and enjoy the views over the rear garden beyond, providing a very useful and beneficial additional reception room. Turning to the heart of a home, the modern kitchen has ample base and wall units with built in appliances. Ample work top space gives the chef within you plenty of space to create your master pieces, while the spacious utility room has further storage and space for white goods. There is also a ground floor WC and access into the single garage via the utility room.
To the first floor, the light and airy landing has a side window and doors to lead into the three bedrooms and family bathroom. The master bedroom, like the lounge below, has a fabulous walk into bay window, with contemporary fitted wardrobes and drawer units. Bedroom two has been made into a very large dressing room, with floor to ceiling storage as well as a vanity and seating area, however if you wanted to change this back to a more formal bedroom it would be simple to do so. Meanwhile we have bedroom three which is a good size room, ideal for use as a single bedroom or home office space. The fabulous contemporary bathroom is a further gem this property offers, the space within the room allows for a four piece suite to include a double ended bath and separate corner shower cubicle, with modern tiled walls and flooring.
Outside the frontage has the kerb appeal box well and truly ticked, while on the practical side, we have off road parking for two cars, plus on street parking, the driveway leading to a single attached garage. There is also a lawn area with planted borders for all year colour. The South facing rear garden is the finishing piece to this gorgeous home, very private and with a sunny aspect, there is a manicured lawn, with planted borders which you can walk around thanks to the stone pathways. A paved patio seating area is the ideal space for those summer get togethers with friends and family.
There really isn’t much more to say than, don’t miss out on this one!
EPC Rating: D
The Seller's View
We have loved living here for over 20 years. Garth Drive is a very peaceful and friendly neighbourhood. Our south facing garden is very private. We have particularly appreciated how close we are to a wide range of local amenities. We are only a short walk from two supermarkets, a good range of local shops, Total Fitness gym and swimming pool and the hospital. We can walk into Chester in under 30 minutes and there is also a regular bus service. Bache railway station is a 10 minute walk away. There are a range of lovely walks nearby, including the Chester Millennium Greenway, Countess of Chester Country Park and the Shropshire Union canal.

The values shown against a property can be broken down as follows:
Clear: No bars, no signal predicted
Red: One bar, reliable signal unlikely
Amber: Two bars, may experience problems with connectivity
Green: Three bars, likely to have good coverage and receive a data rate to support basic web services
Enhanced: Full bars, likely to have good coverage indoors and to receive an enhanced data rate to support multimedia services
Energy Performance data and Internal floor area: obtained on August 24, 2023 from The Energy Performance of Buildings (Certificates and Inspections) (England and Wales) Regulations 2007 or the Home Report if in relation to a residential property in Scotland.
