The Garden Fields Estate has a nice community feel and our neighbours are all really friendly; It has been a fantastic place to start our family. There is lovely light in the home due to the south-facing garden. The local primary school is walking distance and rated good, and again has an amazing community feel. There are two local pubs, lots of beautiful walks and the cafe, gym and bakery at Offley Hoo farm are all really useful. The walk in to Hitchin is beautiful and takes around an hour following public footpaths. Pegsdon Hills is about a 40 min walk. Both properties at number 44 and 45 have had planning for a single story extension at the back. Being able to park 2-3 cars on the drive is really helpful. The drive in to Hitchin takes 5-10 mins to the town centre.
