*Vendor's comments:* "Around 3 years ago, we decided to move in together after a few years of travelling long distances to meet one another.

We wanted a flat that was on the ground floor (to allow my wife, a professional Indian classical dancer, to practice without any issues from the stamping) whilst also keeping close to train links to be able to get into the city for work for myself (10-minute walk to either South or East Croydon Station and just a 15-20 minute train to London Bridge or Victoria & Gatwick Airport!).

Our flat met those basic requirements and so much more. Ever since the COVID lockdown, we have placed a lot of importance on a flat that has an outdoor space. We were lucky to get this flat with its nice-sized garden, which is easy to look after and lovely to sit out in the sunshine with a tea or a drink!

Chatsworth Road is also a surprisingly quiet road, away from the hustle and bustle that one would expect in Croydon, despite it being so central.

Initially, we had concerns about lighting and temperature in lower ground floor flats. Still, we were pleasantly surprised to see the flat bathed in light throughout the day, retaining the heat well too. Its positioning and bifold doors to the garden in both rooms mean that light filters into the property most of the day via the front windows and back garden/bifold doors.

We have loved living in our flat and in the area but we thought the time was right after our wedding to move into a bigger place to start the next chapter of our lives with a bit more dance studio space!"
